"Not everyone who drinks are poets... many people drink because they are not poets."  - Arthur

I love my new striped shirt.  It makes me feel very Tim Burtonish.   It reminds me of a piar of over the knees socks I still have from the eighties.  I remember one day this winter I wore them under my long skirt with my black combat boots and showed them off at work when I sat down and crossed my legs.  They were very fun.  This shirt is fun.. I like it..

I bought new eye shadows today too

Today J made several water and Gatorade drinks and didn't notice one bit that
A- He wasn't getting drunk
 and
B- That he can never taste any alcohol in his drinks!! how scary is that!

My last client today was a complete makeover.  Her sister had called to set up the appointment and I snatched it up when she had said that she was in need of a complete change, new hairstyle and color of some kind.   I wish more of my job was like this; someone sitting in my chair that is willing to leave it up to me and give me complete creative freedom.  In the end, she absolutely loved the short fun razor cut I gave her but the shocking red color was a bit much, ( which I suspected, since she had never colored her hair in her life.) but I asked her to give it a week before she decides that it's not for her.
There is a big contest going on at work between 11 stylists and myself over who can sell the most Redken haircare products in the next couple months.  The top two stylists will get a paid trip to New York to attend a three day advanced hands on training at The Redken Exchange on 5th Ave.  This really is a big deal.  It's three days hands on with the best in this industry... I WILL WIN THIS CONTEST!
Also May 10th about 10 of us from work are renting a limo and going downtown to the Park West for the big Redken Fashion/Product launch Party, which I actually can't believe that I am excited about going to, could these little Effexor beauties be working?
