Scary Doll Valentine

R came over, let himself in and crawled into my bed around 1 a.m. then drove me to work around 8:30 a.m
I remember when he suggested that he drive me to work on Valentine's Day.  It made me smile because I remember one other time when he drove me to work because my car was broken and I remember saying to him when I was getting out of the car that I liked how it felt when he drove me to work.
At work I passed out conversation heart candies and cat in the hat valentines to everybody.  I also got a little crazy with the heart stickers everyone got stuck with one or two including my clients other peoples clients, etc. etc. I started out wearing a red shirt but kept adding to my outfit throughout the day more heart, more glitter, etc.   By the end of the day the valentine fever had spread so rapidly that one of the assistants commented on how I looked like a scary doll.  One of those creepy porcelain dolls with the wavy blonde hair with hearts on the cheeks and a tiny barrette holding a side part.

R picked me up at the end of the day and wore a smirk when he saw the hearts and glitter on me as I got into the car. I pouted and said "They called me a scary doll today."  Do you like scary dolls? He just smiled and said yes and waited for me to put my seat belt on before pulling out of the spot.

When we got to my place he pointed over to the table where he had a bunch of gifts he made me.

5 yellow sunflower scented votives
5 red/ gingerbread scented votives
6 yellow sunflower scented tea lights
1  large yellow/sunflower scented scalloped pillar
1 large red/gingerbread valentine heart with R and Girl written on it
and 1 large white/almond scented triangle  oblique pillar candle about 12 inches high

(um... did I mention that R's new hobby is making home made candles?)

he also surprised me with a pound and a half of fresh Alaskan King Crab in my refrigerator along with maraschino cherries and whip cream for desert!  Nice job R.  I thanked him and thanked him and thanked him.  He really put a lot of thought into the evening and it showed.
