I decided to go to a concert with my
friend Net after work last night. We drove down to Milwaukee to
see Vast play at the
Eagle's club Rave Ballroom There were four bands
playing one after another and Vast was third to come on. I was a
little surprised that the bands they were up against at the venue were
all heavy metal, and being a hairdresser I have to say that I have never
seen so many damned split ends in my life. And truth be told I
have never been to a concert where head banging was involved. Sheltered
maybe, and little did I know what a work out head banging actually is
until tonight I sit here and write with a severe case of whip lash!
I was really excited to see Vast Live and even more excited to watch my
friend Net be overly excited as well. I thought that the sound
could have been a little better, but other then that I thought that it
was a really good show. After the last band played "Soil" we got
to meet the members of Vast and I had them sign their latest release
"NUDE." Net was buzzing the whole ride home, I was tired and ready
for bed since I had to work the next day and had a wedding party first
thing in the morning. I dreaded work the next day and rightfully
so, in the morning I was sick from only a couple drinks but what I think
made me sicker was the fact that I had been stealing drags off people's
cigarettes all night. My body is not used to all the nicotine.
(a good thing). If you have the chance check out the vast website, I have to say this is really the most awesome website design and set up I have ever seen, not to mention the band rocks as well.
